Hello everyone! I am Ana Bermudez and I am the school counselor for the Virtual Learning Program and Design Learning Academy. I am very excited to be your school counselor this school year.This is my first year as a school counselor but I have worked in education in the past. Before being a school counselor, I worked as a substitute teacher for the Grossmont Union High School District. I obtained my bachelor's in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) and my master's in school counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU). I am also bilingual; I speak Spanish. 

I am available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I will try to get back to you within 24 hours. If you are having a mental health or life-threatnening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital. Talk to a trusted adult or call the Crisis and Access Hotline at (888) 724-7240 if you are not able to wait before I can respond.

Este es mi primer año como consejera escolar, pero he trabajado en educación en el pasado. Antes de ser consejero escolar, trabajé como maestra sustituto para el Distrito de Escuelas Secundarias de Grossmont. Obtuve mi licenciatura en inglés de la Universidad de California, Santa Bárbara (UCSB) y mi maestría en consejería escolar de Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU). También soy bilingüe; Yo hablo español.
