Meet Maria Lemus, Johnson School Counselor:

Hello families! My name is Maria Lemus, and I am the school counselor at Johnson Elementary. This is my 8th year at Johnson and my 10th year in the district. After spending last year on the Mental Health District Team, I’m so excited to be back working directly with our wonderful students. I’ve learned so much and can’t wait to use that knowledge to continue growing the counseling program at Johnson.

On a personal note, I’m a proud mom of six-year-old twins who keep life busy, fun, and full of laughs. I’m also a big book lover and am always happy to share book recommendations! I look forward to getting to know your family better this year and supporting your child’s growth and success.
