Steps to Request a Transfer to a Cajon Valley School:

Step 1: Do you want to enroll in your resident school?

• Yes: Contact the resident school office. (Cajon Valley School Directory)
• No: Go to Step 2.

Step 2: Do you live within the ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ boundaries?

• Yes: Go to Step 3 to complete an INTRA-District Transfer Application.
• No: Complete an INTER-District Transfer Application (See Below)
• Unsure:

Step 3: Does your student currently attend a ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ school?

• Yes: Submit an INTRA-District Transfer Application in your account.
  • Click on "Student Transfer" located on the left side of the screen below your student's name.
  • In the main section to the right, click on "Click Here to submit a transfer request."
  • Complete and submit the transfer application.
• No: For new or returning students, . 

INTER-District Transfer Application (from one district to another):  

Paper applications are available in our office or click here to download the INTER-District Transfer Application. Completed applications will need to be printed, signed by a parent/guardian, and emailed to ESP@cajonvalley.net or brought in person to the Enrollment Services & Planning Department.

Current School Year (2024-25) Applications:

Determination notifications for applications submitted for the current school year are usually emailed within 14 days from the date the application is received. Processing may take up to 30 days during peak periods.

Following School Year (2025-26) Applications:

The application period will open December 15, 2024.  Requests placed between December 15, 2024 and February 1, 2025 are more likely to be approved, and determination notifications will be emailed no later than May 1st.

Late Applications after February 1, 2025 will be approved as space is available for transfer students, but determination will likely take longer.
